    Earlier Thursday, Musk started posting on the social media platform spotlight Trump’s earlier opposition to parts of the invoice that contain the debt ceiling.

    “Wise words,” Musk wrote on his social media platform X atop a 2013 tweet during which Trump wrote that he was “embarrassed” by the GOP’s transfer to carry the debt ceiling.
