    It additionally accuses the Nationwide Institutes of Well being (NIH) of terminating greater than “2,600 grants supporting lifechanging—and lifesaving—medical research, totaling approximately $8.9 billion, and it is not clear how many have or will be reinstated.”

    The Hill has reached out to the Division of Homeland Safety and NIH for remark.
