    Kennedy, who serves on the Banking and Price range Committee, joined MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” simply hours after Trump’s sweeping reciprocal tariffs went into place, with an emphasis on China.

    “With tariffs, an eye for an eye just leaves both people blind,” Kennedy mentioned. “When a government imposes a tariff, it’s putting its thumb on the scale. It interferes with people’s freedom to exchange goods and services.”

    Kennedy pointed to China’s commerce obstacles and the way it will damage the American financial system.
