This previous week I have been engaged on the twenty Deathrattle Skeletons that got here within the Soulblight Gravelord Vanguard/Spearhead field.
Deathrattle Skeletons
They’re similar to the Ulfenwatch skeletons that got here with Warhammer Quest: Cursed Metropolis (besides the Cursed Metropolis ones had been press match and these ones required glue…)
ALL the Skeletons!!
I now have thirty of them! and I Wight King to steer them. Captain Halgrim used to have the ability to lead them… however I believe he is been moved on to Legends… although I do not see why he could not ALSO be used as a “counts as” Wight King…?
ALL the Soulblights, to this point…
Nonetheless just a little Hero Heavy, however good to have just a few extra models of troops! Among the stuff within the footage is not playable any extra (a number of the characters from Warhammer Quest, the Warhammer Underworlds warbands within the background) and I would like 10 extra zombies painted for it to be a correct unit of 20…
I nonetheless have the 5 mounted Blood Knights and three Vargheists to complete off the spearhead
(and I STILL have three Fell Bats to complete up for Cursed Metropolis!?)
In keeping with the 2025 Painted versus Bought Log Web page, this brings me to 345 painted 28mm miniatures to this point this 12 months (versus 331 bought – or in any other case acquired!) placing me again within the black… for now… In one other week and a half I will be selecting up one other spearhead field (Maggotkin of Nurgle – on the Warhammer Retailer Saskatoon Anniversary occasion – as a result of I bought it in my head I might like that fancy neoprene with the Spearhead map on one facet!)… and the next week the Helsmiths of Hashut (as a result of ALL THE CHAOS SPEARHEADS!)? Hopefully earlier than that, although, I can get just a few extra issues painted so I am not plunged too far into the purple. That can hopefully be it for the 12 months… and I can spend This autumn knocking some extra issues off the Pile of Alternative!
