Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.) on Thursday mentioned TikTok has complied together with her request to take away footage of Charlie Kirk’s capturing on the campus of Utah Valley College, which occurred in entrance of a crowd of roughly 3,000.
“I have just received word from TikTok that they will be removing the horrific videos of Charlie Kirk’s final moments,” Luna wrote in a press release on the social platform X.
“Thank you, TikTok. I have also asked them to take down content that uses this horrific incident to incite violence against others,” she continued.
TikTok didn’t instantly reply to The Hill’s request for touch upon the matter.
Nevertheless, Luna mentioned the social platform despatched a press release to her that learn, “We are saddened by the assassination of Charlie Kirk and send our deepest condolences to his wife Erika, their two young children, and their family and friends.”
