    President Trump on Thursday denied desirous to hurt tech billionaire Elon Musk’s companies, amid questions over if he helps federal companies working with the Tesla CEO’s firms.

    “Everyone is stating that I will destroy Elon’s companies by taking away some, if not all, of the large scale subsidies he receives from the U.S. Government. This is not so!” Trump wrote on Fact Social.

    He continued, “I want Elon, and all businesses within our Country, to THRIVE, in fact, THRIVE like never before! The better they do, the better the USA does, and that’s good for all of us. We are setting records every day, and I want to keep it that way!”

    The president’s feedback come a day after White Home press secretary Karoline Leavitt stated she doesn’t suppose Trump helps federal companies contracting with Musk’s synthetic intelligence (AI) firm, xAI.

    When requested if Trump would then need the federal government to cancel a just lately introduced contract with the enterprise, Leavitt stated she would speak to the president about it.

    xAI scored a contract for as much as $200 million with the Division of Protection, alongside Anthropic, Google and OpenAI, final week. This week, xAI unveiled a set of merchandise for U.S. authorities prospects, which it refers to as Grok for Authorities.
